I just finished an article on TD-LTE and how it will affect WiMAX, in the short term and in the long term. No longer a Chinese technology, TD-LTE makes LTE far more interesting (and disruptive) than FDD-LTE alone.
I would have never thought I would end up writing an article on the LTE/WiMAX wars, because I thought that it was clear where different vendors and operators would go (and besides way too many people already contributed their opinions on the topic). But with TD-LTE the balance is changing very quickly. You can read the full article here I will glad to hear your thoughts on this.
